Confidence is a model score from 0 to 100. Lower values mean the model assigns higher probability to an authentic (normal) face; higher values mean stronger suspicion of synthesis. The service applies a default decision threshold around 50 when choosing the label, but you can interpret the raw score for stricter or looser policies.

The API may attach hints—for example when the face is blurry, occluded, or at a large angle, or when no face was detected. Use these messages to decide whether to re-capture a clearer photo before trusting the score.

Yes. When several faces are found, the result lists one entry per face with its own label, confidence, optional bounding box, and tips.

Which file types and sizes are supported?

The underlying Alibaba Cloud API accepts PNG, JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, and WEBP up to about 10 MB. For best results use resolution well above 256×256 with a face region larger than about 128×128. The in-app uploader also applies client-side compression to keep requests reliable.

How many credits does one run cost?

Each detection uses the credits shown on the button (currently 10 credits), consistent with other BeautyLove AI tools. If your balance is insufficient, you will be prompted to top up.

Do you store my photos?

Accepted Answer

Images are sent to the detection service to produce results. Per the provider’s statements, uploaded debug assets may be short-lived. Do not upload images you are not allowed to process; see the site privacy policy for how your account data is handled.

Can this replace fraud or KYC decisions?

Accepted Answer

No. Use it as one signal alongside process controls, metadata, and human review. Attackers and edge-case media evolve; no detector is perfect.

What if detection fails or times out?

Try a smaller file, a clearer frontal face, and a stable connection. The client retries once on some server errors. Rate limits or credit issues will surface explicit messages.
